CCNA Routing & Switching - Career outlook

CCNA routing and switching
The R&S CCNA validates the knowledge and skills that a basic level networking professional would learn in the first two years of work. During that time, they will generally be on support, help desk, or even perform some system administrator tasks. The most common job you can get with CCNA research and development is the network administrator.

Job titles associated with CCNA research and development:

Network Administrator
Network analyst
Systems administrator
Network administrators are responsible for the so-called pipes of a company's infrastructure. They usually work behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly. System administrators deal with computers, operating systems, and people. Network administrators operate routers, switches, and servers. In smaller companies, network administrators can design networks. But above all, they will manage all devices that pass traffic at the office and abroad. In many cases, you will also see the locations of systems that also require CCNA.

CCDA
Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) is an entry level certification for design engineers and support technicians involved in Cisco network design. The CCDA addresses methodologies and considerations for the design and protection of new networks and the extension of existing ones. The CCDA is the initial certification phase of network design, followed by Professional (CCDP) and Expert (CCDE) certificates. The typical job of a CCDA is a network engineer for a user organization, although the certificate also applies to sales and systems technicians who work with resellers and network consultants.

Job titles associated with CCDA:

Network designer
Solution Designer
Infrastructure engineer
It is also common to the CCDA on the list of preferred certifications for high-level networking. Network designers are responsible for configuring and managing the performance and security of the organization's networks. The design engineer specifies the equipment, software, and connections. Then the network engineers work with the network administrator and support the staff who actually install and manage the network on a daily basis.
