- Understand the applicable IT security policies, laws, and regulations that are required locally or globally to reduce potential fines from compliance agencies.
- Explain the impact and proper use of environmental controls.
- Understand and apply the encryption and public key infrastructure.
- Explains the concepts of authentication, authorization, and user access control that help strengthen the importance of security among colleagues and make security part of everyone's work.
- Illustrate the concepts of data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Identify and analyze common attacks such as social engineering, malware, applications and wireless attacks.
